Face & Body Sculpting

Energy-assisted tightening and contouring through millimetre punctures — BODYtite where there is fat to reduce, Renuvion where the job is tightening alone.

01 — Planning

Assess the skin before choosing the device

Which device suits you is a finding, not a preference.

At the planning visit your surgeon assesses how much fat is present and how well the skin draws back when it is released. Those two findings — not a brand preference — are what decide between BODYtite, Renuvion, and either of them combined with liposuction.

The same assessment tells you when neither is the right answer. If the laxity is beyond what heat can tighten, we will say so, and talk about removing skin surgically instead.

Assessment guides the plan. It illustrates an expected direction, not a guaranteed outcome.

What is energy-assisted sculpting?

A minimally invasive way to reshape and tighten: a slim probe passes under the skin through a millimetre puncture and delivers controlled heat to the layer beneath, prompting collagen to contract. YOUNIFY offers two technologies for this.

BODYtite uses radiofrequency to melt fat while it tightens, so it suits areas carrying both fat and loose skin. Renuvion / J-Plasma combines helium plasma with radiofrequency and is tightening-focused — the better fit for skin left loose after liposuction or weight loss, where little fat remains to remove.

Both address mild-to-moderate laxity. Where laxity is significant, surgically removing skin is still the more honest answer, and we will tell you so.

Concerns it addresses

01

Localized fat + mild laxity

Pockets of fat together with mild-to-moderate skin looseness.

02

Skin won't retract after lipo / weight loss

Skin that hasn't snapped back after volume was lost, leaving it loose.

03

Tightening without excision

Wanting firmer skin on the arms, abdomen, thighs, or under the chin without major surgery.

04

Early-stage laxity

Looseness that isn't yet enough to need a lift or skin excision.

BODYtite vs Standard Liposuction

Both reduce fat, but BODYtite adds skin tightening — your surgeon will help choose what fits you.

How we plan your result

BodyTite uses radiofrequency (RFAL) to melt fat while delivering heat to the deeper tissue to stimulate contraction — so it both reduces fat and tightens skin through tiny entry points. The degree of laxity determines whether BodyTite fits or a surgical lift is better.

Dual actionReduces fat and tightens skin in one procedure.
Tiny entry pointsEntered through small punctures with virtually no visible scar.
For mild–moderate laxityNot a substitute for a surgical lift when laxity is significant.

Areas we can treat

Face & neck (FaceTite)Tighten the chin, jawline, and neck as they begin to loosen.
Arms & abdomenReduce fat while tightening skin that has loosened after weight loss.
Flanks, back & thighsFirm skin along the flanks, back and thighs, where looseness tends to show after weight loss.

Who is it for

  • Those with localized fat and mild-to-moderate skin laxity
  • Those who want tightening while avoiding major surgery
  • Those whose skin has begun to loosen after liposuction or weight loss
  • Those in good health with no contraindications

03 — Your options

Two devices, chosen on your tissue

Both work through millimetre punctures and both tighten skin. What separates them is whether there is fat to remove as well — your surgeon decides that on your own tissue, not on the brand name.

Medical illustration — BODYtite (radiofrequency)

BODYtite (radiofrequency)

Radiofrequency delivered under the skin melts fat while heating the deeper tissue so it contracts.

Benefits: Reduces fat and tightens skin in the same pass.

Suitable for: Areas carrying fat as well as loose skin — arms, abdomen, flanks. FaceTite is the same technology sized for the chin, jawline and neck.

Medical illustration — Renuvion / J-Plasma (helium plasma + RF)

Renuvion / J-Plasma (helium plasma + RF)

Helium plasma combined with radiofrequency delivers controlled heat beneath the skin, prompting collagen to contract.

Benefits: Tightening-focused, with heat delivered precisely.

Suitable for: Skin that has loosened after liposuction or weight loss, where little fat is left to remove. It does not reduce fat volume.

Medical illustration — Combined with liposuction

Combined with liposuction

Liposuction removes the volume first, then either device tightens the skin over it in the same session.

Benefits: Treats fat and laxity together rather than leaving one of them behind.

Suitable for: Larger volumes of fat with skin that is unlikely to retract on its own.

The treatment process

Step 1

Consult & assess laxity

Assess fat and the degree of skin laxity to see if BodyTite fits.

Step 2

Plan areas & pairing

Map the areas and consider pairing with liposuction where suitable.

Step 3

Prepare for the procedure

Fitness checks and preparation guidance.

Step 4

Procedure day

Performed in a standard procedure room through tiny punctures by an experienced physician.

Step 5

Aftercare

A compression garment, a swelling program, and care guidance.

Step 6

Follow-up

Reviews as skin tightening develops gradually over several months.

Recovery timeline

First 1–3 daysMild swelling and bruising; wear your compression garment as advised.
~1 weekReturn to daily activities and work.
2–6 weeksSwelling subsides and skin tightening becomes visible.
3–6 monthsSkin continues to firm as new collagen forms.

Frequently asked questions

How is BODYtite different from regular liposuction?

Liposuction removes fat but does not tighten skin. BODYtite uses RF to reduce fat and tighten skin at once, so it suits those whose skin has begun to loosen.

Is it painful — do I need general anesthesia?

Most treatments use local or twilight anesthesia rather than general, and there is no hospital stay.

When will I see results?

Changes are visible early, and the skin keeps tightening over 3–6 months as new collagen forms.

How long do results last?

Results are long-lasting if you maintain a stable weight, since the fat cells removed do not return to that area.
